October Walk

 

Are you a refugee or an asylum seeker who would like to walk in the peaceful and beautiful Peak District near to Sheffield?  Join us to take exercise, meet new people, practice English and relax!

 

  • meet in Sheffield and travel out together on the train

  • walk for 2 or 3 hours

  • we will pay for your train ticket 

  • bring sandwiches or food to eat outdoors

 

 

Saturday October 3rd

 

Walk from Grindleford through woods and fields and along the River Derwent

 

Meet at 9.45 am at the train station’s main entrance

 

DON'T BE LATE OR YOU WILL MISS THE TRAIN!

 

You need to be able to speak and understand English to a reasonable level and be fit and healthy.  Wear good shoes or trainers and warm clothes.  We may be able to lend you some shoes if you let us know in advance. 

 

Sorry no children under 10 and all children between 10 and 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
